A pen with your name on it is one of the simplest personalised gifts, and one of the most used. It sits on a desk, goes to every meeting, and gets noticed every time someone signs. But engraved pens are not all the same. This guide explains the differences so you can pick the right customised pen with name, whether you need one for a gift or five hundred for a company event.
Engraving or printing: why it matters
Cheap promotional pens are usually printed, and the ink wears off within weeks. Our pens are laser engraved: the laser removes the top coating of the metal to reveal the bright metal underneath. The name cannot rub off, fade or peel, because it is not ink. We do this in house in our Coimbatore workshop, which is why most pens are ready to dispatch the same day.
Types of customised pens with name
Classic metal pens – from Rs.99
The laser engraved metal pen and the premium personalised pen are smooth ballpoint pens in a solid metal body. They suit names, initials and company logos, and they are the first choice for corporate orders.
Pens with a stylus tip – from Rs.99
A stylus tip on the end works on phone and tablet screens. Choose the metal stylus pen in black, navy blue or mocha brown, or the slim pen with stylus (Rs.120), which has a longer barrel with space for more than one name.
Gold engraved and gold flake pens – from Rs.150
For a gift that needs to look premium, the gold engraved pen shows the name in gold on matte black, the gold flake pen has a clear barrel filled with gold flakes, and the gold foil metal pen (Rs.199) is our most striking design.
LED pen with name – Rs.150
On the LED pen, the engraved name lights up. It also has a stylus tip. Children and students love it, which makes it a popular birthday return gift.
Wooden pen in an engraved box – Rs.299
The wooden pen with box is maple wood, plastic free, and both the pen and the box carry the name. A thoughtful gift for teachers, writers and anyone who prefers natural materials. To present any pen as a gift, add an engraved wooden pen box.
What to engrave
- A name is the most common choice. Short names look the boldest; long names are engraved in a smaller size to fit.
- A company logo works well on metal pens. Send it as a clear image or PDF and we will show you a proof first.
- A name and a logo together is ideal for staff gifts, so each person gets a pen that is clearly theirs.
- A short message or date, like a retirement date or “Best Teacher”, suits farewell and Teachers’ Day gifts.
