Teachers’ Day Return Gifts: Personalised Ideas from Rs.99 for Schools and Students

Every year on 5 September, schools and colleges across Tamil Nadu celebrate Teachers’ Day. Students bring cards and flowers, and many schools, parent associations and alumni groups give a return gift to every teacher on the staff. A gift engraved with the teacher’s own name, or a short thank you message, is remembered long after the function is over. Here are Teachers’ Day return gift ideas for every budget, all engraved in our workshop in Annur, Coimbatore.

Teachers’ Day return gifts under Rs.150

When a school is gifting the whole staff, a small personalised item for each teacher feels more thoughtful than a generic packet.

• Laser engraved metal pen – Rs.99. A teacher uses a pen all day, every day. Engrave each teacher’s name, or the school name with “Thank you, Teacher”.
• Premium personalised pen – from Rs.99. A heavier metal pen for when the gift needs to feel a little more special.
• Slim pen with stylus – Rs.120. Writes on paper and works on phone screens, handy for teachers who now also teach online.
• Wooden keychain with a message – Rs.149. Our most chosen Teachers’ Day gift. Light wood engraved with the teacher’s name or a line like “You did not just teach, you inspired”.
• LED pen with name – Rs.150. The engraved name lights up. A fun choice that students enjoy giving.
• Gold engraved pen – Rs.150. The name in gold on matte black, for a premium look on a small budget.

• Desk organiser with clock, calendar and name plate – Rs.899. A brass plate engraved with the name and designation, ideal for a principal, headmaster or head of department.

What to engrave on a Teachers’ Day gift

• The teacher’s name, so the gift is clearly theirs.
• A short message such as “Thank you, Teacher”, “Best Teacher” or “You inspired us”.
• The school or college name and logo, when the management is gifting the whole staff.
• The class and year, for example “Class 10 B, 2026-27”, when students are gifting together.
• A message in Tamil, if you prefer. Just send us the text.

Ordering for the whole school

Many of these gifts come in 5, 25 and 50 piece packs with a lower price per piece, and each piece can carry a different teacher’s name. Send us the list of names with the order. For larger orders, message us on WhatsApp +91 99525 03867 with the item, quantity and the date of your function, and we will reply with a price and a design proof.

Order early. Teachers’ Day falls on 5 September, and schools often finalise gifts in the last week of August. Around 99% of customised orders leave our workshop the same day, and delivery across India takes 2 to 5 days, but ordering a week ahead gives time to check the proof. Schools in and around Coimbatore can also collect from our shop on SMC Palayam Road, Ganeshapuram, Annur.

Not just for Teachers’ Day

The same gifts work for a teacher’s retirement, farewell, school annual day and prize distribution. See more ideas in customised gifts under Rs.150, return gifts in Coimbatore and our guide to choosing a customised pen with name.
